Job Purpose:

Lead the activities and team for Demand Management Commercial & Support Functions at RPI , under delegated authority from Head IDS, acting as single point of contact between Commercial / Support Functions and IDS function, by (1)  Using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to Identify and elicit high-level requirements capturing and prioritizing business demands, and (2) Provide support on business-led technology initiatives and ensure seamless and value orientated IT service delivery; in order to support Information Management & digital Transformation at RPI & OPM (Polymer Marketing) to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the business.

The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Maintain Commercial & Support functions demand process for new proposals with overall responsibility for steering these proposals through the early phases of approval.
• Develop and enhance relationships with key Commercial & Support functions business stakeholders, actively manage their expectations & monitor satisfaction levels.
• Ensure high level technology impact analysis is provided to business.
• Address Commercial & Support functions business demand by capturing high level technology requirements including:

Customer relationship management (CRM) Demand:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks and streamlining customer activities. Maintain relevance to your customers by utilizing real-time decisioning powered by AI.

Order to Cash Demand:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing Order to Cash by introducing software / integrated suite of technologies that can help businesses manage Cash Management Order regarding the Credit Parties' cash management system, bank accounts, cash collections and disbursements, intercompany transactions, bank fees, business forms, corporate cards, and related matters, as such order may be amended.

Human Capital Management (HCM) Demand:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing human capital management, by introducing software / integrated suite of technologies that can help businesses manage their employees, from hire to retire.

Finance & Controlling (FICO Demand:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing Finance & Controlling Management Accounting, by introducing software / integrated suite of technologies that can help businesses manage the Finance and Cost controlling module in SAP ERP.

Procurement Demand:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing procurement by introducing software / integrated suite of technologies that can help businesses manage a group of processes for the purchase in accordance with organization strategy.

Sales & Marketing:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing sales & Marketing by introducing software / integrated suite of technologies that can help businesses manage.

track all the details of their customer relationships through the entire sales funnel, while offering tools to help sellers and marketers build better relationships with their buyers.

Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) SAP Software:

Improve efficiencies by eliminating repetitive tasks executing Advanced Planner and Optimizer by introducing SAP software that can help businesses manage Advanced product quality planning and scheduling.

Key Interactions:

Internal: IDS, Commercial

External: 3rd party Contractors, Vendors & Suppliers

Notable Working Conditions: Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.

Education Requirements: Minimum Qualifications for this position are a bachelor’s degree in IT or related disciplines.

Language: Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required).

Background and experience:

• 12+ years of experience in managing relationships with internal business customers or relevant experience in IT leadership role.
• Broad IT domain experience in IT applications, systems & infrastructure
• Broad knowledge of various Commercial business processes
• Experience of building relationships with senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• Knowledge of portfolio management & performance monitoring
