Job Purpose:
Provides Specialized contracts baking for Operations at RPI, under Manager Contracts for Operations scope’s to support Downstream RPI (Operations), acting as team player for contract preparation, tender specifications, business demands, technical and commercial standards to meet end user’s timelines by; (1) Delivery of procurement planning assigned tasks, (2) Compilation of Tender Documents (ITT) & Contract Packages in compliance of Oil & Gas industry standards, (3) Preparation of Contract documents, amendments, variations in accordance with approved OQ contract policy (correspondence with counterparties, corrective actions identification, corrective actions endorsement, and corrective actions execution and monitoring), (4) Execution and distribution of contract documents to Contractors and User Departments., (5) Gathering information regarding the status of ongoing contracts and issue periodical reports, (Expiring/new contacts identification, Establishment of negotiating team, Definition of contracting strategy, Negotiation and contracting, and Contract signing and filing, etc.); and (6) Provides administrative assistance to staff / clients in contract related issues; in order to ensure their compliance and the conditions agreed in the SLA and relevant policies.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |

Education requirements |
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, law, Business Administration or equivalent. Professional Certifications such CIPS is an added advantage. Master’s degree, MBA or any special certifications related to the role is an added advantage |

5-7 years of relevant experience Experience implementing best practices related Contracts for Operations for Oil & Energy sector Experience providing consultation in projects, or challenges within their domain. Expertise in Contracts for Operations subprocesses / subfield within the Oil & Energy industry Depth experience securing specialized software applications for Contracts for Operations subprocesses and mitigating potential vulnerabilities. Experience in Contracts for Operations methodologies, and applicable regulations / coding practices in the Oil & Energy sector. Threat analysis Working knowledge of Omani MOG related Laws. |
