Job purpose Lead all technical processes related to quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality procedures across all projects in Upstream – E&P according to best practices and OQ standards under Head of Project Services’ scope, acting as owner of QA/QC project standards. Manage and assign resources to ensure QA/QC standards are implemented across all projects. Assure proper custody, preservation, updating, accuracy, and availability of the project QA/QC information. Monitor all quality-related processes and provide Quality advice for Engineering and Projects to effectively contribute to the technical compliance of all projects.
The position will act in accordance with the OQEP’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives. |

Main tasks and responsibilities

Key interactions Internal: Liaise with colleagues within Projects, functional leaders, and other internal stakeholders for day-to-day work. External: Contractors, vendors, national government offices, external consultants |

Notable Working Conditions. Office environment, frequent travel, and visits to the operational sites. Moderate to intensive computer screen use. |

Education requirements |
Minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related. |

Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) | Arabic - Native (desirable) |
